About

The core objective of Northwest Journal News is to work with and provide a publishing platform for grassroots advocacy organizations. Our current partner is the Citizens Public Safety Network (CPSN) and their parent nonprofit organization the Northwest Business Alliance this includes affiliated groups and various research, technology development and advocacy branches. CPSN provide’s educational resources and technology to support vulnerable person and elder justice advocates as well as their affected family members.  This partially consists of building knowledge skills platforms to understand and manage difficult circumstances in the family court system and relevant educational resources to learn the risks vulnerable persons face, even though they themselves may not understand their circumstance. This can include predatory risks posed by unethical professionals and unscrupulous family or friends that may take advantage of elder or vulnerable person’s unfortunate circumstances. One area of focus in our Exposes promotes the importance of best practices and encouraging advocates to police and enforce offending professionals to live up to the best practices standards set forth by the State and ethical codes of their profession. A Citizens Public Safety Network or Elder Justice Advocate is not an attorney nor does Northwest Journal News or CPSN provide any legal advice or consultation.

The combined strength of data journalism and affiliated grassroots organizations is vested in the unique mix of victim advocacy, technology, public education, media aggregation, reciprocally branded social media campaigns and legislative advocacy. News article curation and relevant online educational platforms can expose repeating trends and traits common to professional negligence, misconduct, malpractice, conflicts-of-interest, collusion and related failures and while highlighting the dire need for judicial accountability. This can be accomplished through a multitude of campaigns, including the necessity for court survivors and lawmakers to effectively enforce professional discipline and state policy reforms of the deeply fractured judicial system.
